Mr. Kim is a registered patent attorney with expertise in AI, application UX design, digital/analog circuit design, computer systems, communication system design, network technology, and semiconductor device design. He also passed the U.S. patent bar exam in 2017 and is qualified to practice before the USPTO. 




Since Mr. Kim joined MUHANN, he has been responsible for preparing and prosecuting patent applications and for numerous litigations and appeals related to the instant messaging service field (IMS). He has also prepared opinions regarding possible infringements as well as the validity of patents.




Mr. Kim received his dual Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and Computer Engineering with honors from Seoul National University. During his undergraduate studies, he focused on organic chemistry, physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, electrical chemistry, logic design, computer architecture, computer system design, embedded system design, compilers, and operating systems.




Also, Mr. Kim received his Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering with honors from Seoul National University. During graduate school, he participated in the development of a platform board for Core-A which is a 32-bit microprocessor, created by KAIST and sponsored by the KIPO. He was also closely involved in the development of an integrated power management system for mobile computing systems powered by next generation energy sources.
